Workforce Development
Disaster Recovery Workforce Development (DR-Workforce) funds help local governments and nonprofits in affected areas develop their workforces’ skills to help their economies develop and recover after disasters.
Program Overview
The Disaster Recovery Workforce Development (DR-Workforce) Program supports local jurisdictions and workforce training programs to deliver job training alongside a wide range of supportive and career services. These activities are intended to address economic revitalization as a part of disaster recovery in identified areas. In collaboration with local governments, community colleges, training providers, and partner state agencies, DR-Workforce funds will help create or expand programs that address the unmet need for skilled labor and specialized training.
