The communities of Santa Rosa and Clearlake have been heavily impacted due to recent wildfires. The devastation faced by these communities is exacerbated by the loss of precious housing.

HCD’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery programs help communities rebuild after disasters strike. With funding from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development, HCD administers these vital programs to help communities recover that otherwise might not due to limited resources. Thanks to these programs many homes lost have been rebuilt and residents can return home.
